AIRBUS SE is entering the booming airfreight market, using their Beluga jets to transport outsize products such as helicopters, jet engines, and space equipment, reports Bloomberg News.

The planes are used to ferry large aircraft components such as wings and fuselage sections across its manufacturing sites in the EU.
The twin-engine BelugaST is being replaced internally by the BelugaXL.
Airbus will use six BelugaXLs as part of its production ramp-up coming out of the coronavirus downturn.
