New Venture for Alkoc Group

MOL Turkey Denizcilik ve Lojistik Ticaret A.S. (MOL Turkey) has launched a new brand, "MEDMOL Sea Carriers," and will jointly operate general cargo vessels, bulk carriers and multi-purpose vessels in Mediterranean waters in cooperation with the Pearl Naval of Alkoc Group, a leading corporate group in the Turkish maritime industry.

For the time being, we will operate by procuring multipopose vessels and bulkers from the market, but in the future, we will procure vessels around the age of 20 built at Japanese shipyards which have operated in Asian waters and operate them for more than 10 years in Mediterranean waters . Through the commercial operation of these ships, we will support the Turkish maritime industry by utilizing for repair, periodical maintenance and dismantling etc.. In addition, we would like to promote the relationship between the maritime industries of both countries by operating ships procured from Japan.
