Charter Link Logistics Group has set up a new office in Guatemala City, the most populous city in Central America.
The Guatemala office, together with a series of expansions in other parts of Central and Latin America, allows the company to play to its strengths and better serve its customers and business partners.
'Selling the LCL product and working exclusively with the freight forwarding community is a novel concept in Central America, but it continues to work remarkably well for us as a company,' said Federico Martinez, regional manager of charter Link.
Charter Link currently operates five direct LCL services from Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Qingdao, and Hong Kong to Guatemala City, using Hong Kong as the gateway for the rest of Asia-Pacific origins. More direct services will be added to the service portfolio.
'Growing Charter Link's presence in Latin America and the Central America is key to our continue success internationally and Guatemala City will play an important role in maintaining our leadership in the region,' said Michael C. Tsui, Group Executive Director. 'We are pivoting our network in response to changing customer demand. This gives us an opportunity to better serve the logistics communities while preparing to celebrate the group's 25th anniversary next year.'
The new office facility is located at Via 7,04-20 Edificio Torre Q Oficina Q406, Zona 4 Ciudad De Guatemala. For more information or to inquire about Charter Link's services, contact CTL Guatemala at +502 5586 2953.
