YANG MING Marine Transport has agreed to charter four new 11,000-TEU ships from Shoei Kisen Kaisha, all of which will be delivered in the first three quarters of 2022.
These latest charter agreements, along with earlier long-term agreements signed with Shoei Kisen and Costamare in 2018 will ensure the carrier has 14 vessels in its 11,000 TEU ship fleet by 2022, reported Melbourne's Baird Maritime.
