Before the ceremony, Begüm Yachting CEO Begüm Doğulu gave a short speech expressing her pride in the project. Doğulu highlighted that maritime affairs are not only commercial but also a national matter, stating:
"This vessel was built commercially. It will be used for charter. As I’ve mentioned in every interview, the Turkish-flagged yacht fleet needs to grow in our waters. I’ve built a vessel of this size with my own effort and within the budget I could afford. But I hope it will inspire others and pave the way. We have our Blue Homeland, our seas, but we should be there not to draw borders, but to protect those borders. Turkish-flagged vessels should multiply in our seas, and Turkish crews should be employed on these vessels. I see this project as a small beginning. On this occasion, I wanted to share this happiness and pride with you."
