On April 13, when the ship approached the Strait of Malacca, it was understood that it was banned from entering Singapore after Indonesia. As the reason for the ban imposed, the allegation that the captain died due to Covid-19 was shown.
Having to continue the cruise, ITAL LIBERA anchored at the Jakarta anchorage area on 19 April and it was understood that it has remained at anchor ever since.
