NORWEGIAN Air has renewed its cargo handling contract with Menzies Aviation at Los Angeles International Airport, where the ground handler manages 18,000 tonnes of cargo per year for the airline.
The deal will also see Menzies Aviation continuing to ground handle for the carrier at Newark Liberty, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Orlando international airports, reported London's Air Cargo News.
The contract renewal is for two years, with the collaboration between Norwegian Air and UK-headquartered Menzies Aviation dating back to 2014 at the four US gateways.
John Menzies plc chief executive Giles Wilson said: 'These renewals are proof of the great relationship Menzies Aviation has cultivated with Norwegian Air over the past five years and most importantly, the quality of service delivered by Menzies professionals at each airport.'
