MENZIES Aviation has landed a new five-year contract to handle freight for Thai Cargo in Australia and New Zealand.
Under the terms of the agreement, Menzies will deliver a 'full suite of cargo handling services' at Auckland on New Zealand's North Island and at the four Australian airports of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. The partners expect to handle 40,000 tonnes of cargo per annum, across five to six flights per day.
The acquisition of Gold Coast Air Terminal Services Pty Ltd and the addition of two new cargo bases opened in Cairns and Melbourne means that Menzies Aviation's cargo network now comprises 13 stations across the region, reported London's Air Cargo News.
Menzies' Auckland station has also won new cargo handling contracts from Korean Air and Qatar Airways.
