LA Spezia Container Terminal's recent upgrades have enabled the facility to handle Ultra Large Container Vessels (ULCVs), including those on Ocean Alliance's Asia-West Mediterranean service, reports London's Container Management.
In mid-July, the 21,000 TEU OOCL Indonesia, operated by the Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), will dock at the terminal.
Along with two of its sister ships, the OOCL Indonesia is employed within the Asia-West Mediterranean service, with la Spezia serving as a gateway to the northern Tyrrhenian Sea.
