FORWARDING giant dsv Panalpina has launched a global air cargo service, branded Globetrotter, which connects four continents, reports London's Loadstar.
The move comes as forwarders and shippers are upset with the lack of airfreight capacity, searching for charters and solutions.
DSV has agreements with many airlines, including Cargolux and Atlas Air, with the new services connecting Zhengzhou with Istanbul, and Hong Kong, Viracopos, and Chicago with Liege.
DSV declared the new service will increase capacity for DSV customers and will connect to DSV's air charter operations.
