After polluting the Greifswalder Bodden with grease, the company Nord Stream 2 took over the responsibility. So far, about 70 kilograms of the substance could be collected. A leak in the lubrication system of the 'Peter the Great' caused around 0,145 tons of grease to spill. After the accident, all five dredgers were ordered intp the port of Lubmin and were being checked for technical defects. Only when it has been ensured that such an incident cannot recur, the dredging is allowed to be restarted.
