CHINA United Lines (CULines) is upgrading its china Indian Subcontinent Service (CIS) by adding Shanghai, Ningbo and Karachi to its rotation, reports the UK's Seatrade Maritime News.
The new CIS makes its maiden voyage from Shanghai July 17, with the ship capacity of 5,000-6,000 TEU. CULines, together with partners will deploy six ships in this 42-day loop.
The new port rotation for the upgraded CIS is now Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang (Westport), Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Karachi, Port Kelang (Westport), Singapore, Haiphong and back to Shanghai.
