CEBU Pacific Air has renewed its contract with QuantumID Technologies to continue using its SmartKargo cloud-based real-time management system that gives the airline's customers real-time shipment information and tools such as mobile apps to manage their shipments from booking to destination.
The Philippine carrier was the first Asian airline to adopt the SmartKargo Cloud platform in 2013, which has helped Cebu manage and integrate new dedicated cargo capacity into its fleet, reported London's Air Cargo News.
SmartKargo also provides paperless air waybills and single-screen booking for cargo agents and customers, along with simplified pricing and rate-making, real-time capacity management, configurable business intelligence and reporting and integrated cargo revenue accounting. The platform also supports e-commerce partners via mobile applications as well as third party integration.
'The SmartKargo Cloud solution has equipped Cebu Cargo with the advanced digital tools to run our business,' the carrier's vice president Alex Reyes said. 'We are very pleased to continue the partnership, and look forward to sustained growth that SmartKargo has enabled.'
QuantumID Technologies executive vice president Jay Shelat added: 'We at SmartKargo look forward to continue providing Cebu Cargo with solutions and tools to grow their business.'
