SINGAPORE's boc Aviation, a leading global aircraft operating lessor, celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023 with record-breaking operational performance across all key metrics, reports London's AviationSource.
The company capped off a banner year with exceptional results in the fourth quarter, cementing its position globally and setting the stage for continued growth and industry leadership.
'In 2023, we scaled new heights, finalising our largest number of transactions to date,' said BOC Aviation CEO Steven Townend.
'With 142 lease commitments, surpassing all previous records, we solidified our standing as a reliable partner for airlines across the globe.'
BOC Aviation secured 128 transactions in Q4 and a staggering 348 for the year, eclipsing all prior benchmarks.
The company committed to purchasing 95 new aircraft, bolstering the order book to 224 and laying the groundwork for future balance sheet growth.
It took delivery of 65 aircraft (excluding customer acquisitions), marking the highest figure since 2017.
