BLUEBOX Systems is offering an improved tracking solution that it said combines the best features of its existing BlueBoxAir and BlueBoxOcean products.
The German company is now providing real-time tracking capabilities for air and ocean freight on a unified platform, reports London's Air Cargo News.
bluebox Systems said BlueBoxCargo is the result of its extensive experience in the logistics industry and collaboration with freight forwarders such as Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and technology partners such as Vizion.
It describes the platform as user-friendly and data-rich to optimise visibility and accuracy.
BlueBox Systems' chief executive Martin Schulze said: 'BlueBoxCargo is the next logical and, above all, long-planned development stage for us. After developing BlueBoxAir, a solution specifically designed for the complex air freight industry, and launching BlueBoxOcean at the beginning of this year, we are now systematically merging the two solutions.'
The company says that BlueBoxCargo will help companies minimise delays, reduce costs and improve overall supply chain performance and the platform is designed to be quick and easy to get up and running.
By giving shippers exact information on where consignments are at all times, they can proactively manage logistics operations, anticipate potential delays and mitigate risks, ultimately avoiding costly disruption.
