The Razouk cargo ship, previously grounded, drifts in a storm off Sarıyer as Coast Guard teams work to secure the vessel.
The cargo ship named Razouk, which ran aground off Sarıyer, was swept away from its anchorage during a storm and issued a distress call. The Coast Guard teams are working to bring the ship under control.
The Razouk cargo ship, which had run aground off Sarıyer days ago, was rescued; however, this time it was swept away from the place where it had anchored during a storm and called for help.
The cargo ship Razouk, which was struck off the coast of Cide in Kastamonu on January 22, had run aground off Sarıyer Kısırkaya in February, and its captain had fallen ill and was taken to the hospital. Days later, the 100-meter-long cargo ship flying the Comoros flag, Razouk, had anchored off Sarıyer Büyükdere. This time, the ship began to drift due to dragging its anchor in the storm. The cargo ship, which issued a distress call, is being kept under control by the Coast Guard teams' vessels 'Kurtarma 6', 'Nazım', and 'Kıyı Emniyeti 9', which are also assisting with anchoring. It has been learned that if the ship is unable to anchor, it will be taken to another area by the teams.
