PSA International handled 105 million TEU in 2025, a 5% increase, with Singapore leading growth and significant investments in innovation.

Singapore's PSA International handled a record 105 million TEU across its global port network in 2025, marking a five per cent increase year on year and the second consecutive year above the 100 million threshold, reports London's Logistics Manager.

The group's Singapore flagship drove growth with 44.5 million TEU, up eight per cent from 2024. Terminals outside Singapore contributed 60.4 million TEU, reflecting a two per cent rise across 45 countries.

Chairman Peter Voser credited collaboration with partners and resilience amid geopolitical shifts and Red Sea diversions. He stated that PSA's 'Node to Network' strategy positioned Singapore as a buffer hub for global shipping lines.

PSA invested heavily in expansion and digital innovation. Work advanced on Terminal 2 at King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam and Phase 2 at Mumbai, which will double capacity. Tuas Port in Singapore surpassed 10 million TEU in early 2025 as it moves toward becoming the world's largest automated terminal.

Digital platforms such as OptEModal enhanced sea-air connectivity, while digital bunkering was adopted universally in Singapore. CEO Ong Kim Pong emphasized that coordination across supply chain nodes is critical and pledged to strengthen PSA's global capabilities to support sustainable trade.
