Nine suspects, including shareholders and crew, face court in Girne over a passenger ship capsizing incident.
A.Ö. (company shareholder), M.Ö. (captain), M.N.S. (first officer), Z.Ö. (chief engineer), M.G. (second engineer), and crew members S.E., K.K., V.H., and R.İ. were brought before the Girne Criminal Court today in connection with the capsizing of a passenger ship off the coast of Girne.
Judge Hazal Hacımulla reminded the court that arrest warrants had been issued for 16 individuals yesterday.
Judge Hazal Hacımulla ordered the appearance of all 16 individuals subject to the arrest warrants and adjourned the hearing until 11:30.
