The revenue of the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group (NMTP) for January-September 2026 decreased by 8.3% compared to the same period last year, falling to 51.6 billion rubles. According to data reported by Kommersant on October 27, prepared in accordance with international financial reporting standards, the profit attributable to the shareholders of the parent company decreased by approximately 10% to 28.2 billion rubles.
The group's pre-tax profit decreased by 13.7% to 36 billion rubles, while operating profit fell by 21.6% to 28.3 billion rubles. Thus, in the nine-month period, both revenue and key profitability indicators remained below the previous year's figures.
NMTP's activities are not limited to Novorossiysk in the Black Sea. The group also has assets in the ports of Primorsk and Baltiysk in the Baltic Sea basin. The disclosed figures reflect the group's financial performance and cannot be evaluated solely as a result of Black Sea port activities.
The data reported by Kommersant highlights the decline in revenue and profitability. However, these figures alone do not indicate that the change is solely due to attacks in the Black Sea.
