On Aug 7, at 2 p.m. the Gardet & Bezenac Recycling, a subsidiary of the Baudelet Environment group, will proceed to take the 'Britannica Hav' out of the water in Le Havre where it was actually berthed in the parking bay of the company waiting to be dismantled. After being hoisted onto the ramp, the wreck will be gradually cut up. The workshould last two months. The company is one of four French and on the whole 18 European companies certified by the European Commission last December for the dismantling of EU vessels.
