MSC will participate in the 9th China International Import Expo in Shanghai, inviting industry stakeholders to its booth from November 5, 2026.
MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will take part in the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE), held November 5-10, 2026, in Shanghai. This marks the company's eighth consecutive year at the event, and MSC invites shippers, freight forwarders, importers, and buyers to visit its booth, 2.2B3-03.
China's Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government co-host it, and it is widely described as the world's first national-level expo with imports as its theme. Over the years, the event has become a key meeting point for international exporters, Chinese buyers, and the logistics providers that move goods between them.
Over eight consecutive editions, MSC has witnessed and participated in China's economic transformation, upgrading, and sustained development. This record reflects a relationship built over many years, not a single appearance.
According to the company, its continued participation reflects a long-term commitment in three areas: promoting global trade between China and international markets, strengthening supply chain connectivity across ocean, inland, and intermodal networks, and helping clients explore new opportunities in China and around the world.
For cargo owners, these commitments link directly to everyday priorities. Reliable transit schedules, cost control, and clear visibility over shipments determine whether goods reach customers on time and in good condition. When supply chains are disrupted, or freight costs swing, a carrier's network reach and stability become central to protecting cargo value and keeping customer commitments.
The same logic applies further along the chain. Freight forwarders rely on dependable carrier partners to offer competitive, consistent service to their own clients. Importers and buyers who source through the CIIE need efficient routes to bring new products into the Chinese market without adding unnecessary costs.
Through its continued participation, MSC places itself where these conversations happen. The company positions the CIIE as a direct channel to understand changing trade flows and the evolving needs of businesses entering or expanding in China.
MSC welcomes visitors to booth 2.2B3-03 throughout the six-day expo. Event details at a glance:
