Turkey's Blue Homeland-2026 Exercise successfully demonstrates its maritime strength and operational readiness, ensuring national security.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced the completion of the Blue Homeland-2026 Exercise. A post regarding the Blue Homeland-2026 Exercise was shared on the ministry's social media account.
The post included the following statements:
“Our power at sea is the unwavering guarantee of our nation's security. The Blue Homeland-2026 Exercise, which demonstrates Turkey's determination and deterrent power at sea, has been successfully completed. The flawless coordination among surface units, submarines, air assets, and operation centers has once again showcased the high readiness level of the Turkish Armed Forces and the operational strength supported by national capabilities. Turkey continues to resolutely protect its rights and interests in the Blue Homeland.”
It was noted in the shared post that the live-fire phase of the exercise was monitored from TCG Anadolu by Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Commander of the Naval Forces Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, Commander of the Air Forces General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Commander of the Land Forces General Metin Tokel, Commander of the Fleet Admiral Kadir Yıldız, General Manager of Machinery and Chemical Industry (MKE) İlhami Keleş, and General Manager of ROKETSAN Murat İkinci. Images from the exercise were also included.
