AIRBRIDGECARGO Airlines' hub at Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport has been re-certified as an IATA Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV Pharma), following a successful audit. 'IATA CEIV Pharma certification served as a trigger for further dynamic development of our dedicated 'abc pharma' product.' The airline's pharma shipments in the first eight months of the year rose by 20 per cent,' said AirBridgeCargo deputy general director Fedor Novikov.

'We have significantly improved our service quality through continuous personnel training, collaboration with like-minded certified partners, and by following the path of digitalisation to achieve higher pharmaceutical handling excellence,' he added.

Over the last five years, AirBridgeCargo has built its abc pharma network, with 18 QEP and six IATA CEIV certified stations, reported London's Air Cargo News. The company uses cold-chain special packaging solutions to maintain the required temperature for pharmaceutical products and is cooperating with the leading manufacturers of temperature-controlled containers.
