VIRGIN Atlantic Cargo will continue operating its sole freighter service on an ad hoc basis to secure more air cargo capacity and retain European Union market share, reports London's Air Cargo News.
The airline said its London-Brussels service that started in May and was operated by Titan Airways utilising an Airbus A321P2F would continue on an ad hoc basis using a mix of Titan and its own aircraft.
The service, on an LHR-BRU-LHR rotation, was originally planned to operate until the end of October.
