At the Embassy residence in Beirut, Ostash spoke to reporters about the ship "Laodice", which was seized and subsequently released by Lebanon on July 29 for allegedly carrying Ukraine's stolen grain.The Ambassador reiterated that the ship was carrying stolen grain, according to documents submitted by the Ukrainian security agency and judicial authorities.Sharing a photo of the ship loading grain from the Crimean Peninsula, Ostash stated that they will try to obtain more legal documents as the Ukrainian side.Upon Kiev's request and complaints, the Lebanese judiciary prohibited the ship anchored in Tripoli Port from moving within 72 hours.However, after the deadline given by the judiciary, Laodice was allowed to go to Syria.In a statement on 29 July, Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Buhabib stated that they received reactions from some Western countries because the Syrian flagged ship carrying grain arrived in Lebanon.
