SINGAPORE-headquartered freight forwarder TVS Asianics has named former head of Saudia Cargo's charter unit, Mike Duggan, as senior vice president of global air cargo where he will be responsible for 'working with airlines to help its customers to meet their air freight needs.'
Also joining the forwarder is William Foster as senior vice president global sales.
Mr Duggan has worked in the aviation industry for three decades, starting out at DHL Express before joining Emirates SkyCargo to manage network development and the airline's fleet of Boeing 747 freighters and B777Fs.
He has also worked in Dubai with the HAE Group, the cargo general sales agent (GSA), which involved various global development and consulting roles with airlines based in Malaysia, Dubai, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi, reported London's Air Cargo News.
Prior to joining TVS Asianics, Mr Duggan worked in Jeddah with Saudia Cargo, heading up its charter division and managing its joint venture and blocked space activities with other airlines and freight forwarders.
Prior to joining the forwarder, Mr Foster was TNT Express Asia Pacific sales director and at Johnson and Johnson Medical the director of sales, Australia.
At TVS Asianics, Mr Foster takes on the 'lead role for global sales, working closely with the operating companies in the group to define and implement the go-to-market organisational structure, as well as develop and integrate best-in-class sales systems and processes.'
