TURKISH Cargo has extended the validity period of its IATA CEIV Pharma certificate to 2022, proving its success in all processes throughout the air transportation of medicinal products.
The airline first achieved the certification in 2016 but needed to be re-audited in order to extend its validity for a further three years.
Training for the renewal period of the certificates was planned with the Turkish Airlines Aviation Academy and completed successfully following the audits by the IATA, resulting in extension of the validity periods of such certificates for the 'Turkish Airlines INC (Air Carrier) and Ataturk Airport (ISL)' station.
Turkish Cargo offers a cold-storage facility of 3,500 square metres at Ataturk and utilises temperature-controlled Envirotainer and CSafe containers as well as air-conditioned containers from Opticooler, thermal dollies and disposable thermal sheets, according to London's Loadstar.
