TURKISH Cargo is to offer capacity on flights between Liege in Belgium and Miami, Florida from November, in partnership with Avianca Cargo.
The move follows the signing in April 2023 of a memorandum of understanding with the Bogota, Colombia-headquartered carrier.
Under the agreement, the two airlines said they would explore potential cooperation opportunities and strengthen air cargo connections, combining their resources and expertise.
They also said they would consider potential collaboration initiatives such as freighter capacity agreements to provide air cargo customers access to greater capacity in a wider global network.
turkish Cargo would be able to offer enhanced access to South American destinations by leveraging Avianca Cargo's routes in the region, while Avianca Cargo will increase access to worldwide destinations through Turkish Cargo's network, reports London's Air Cargo News.
