Tanker and Cargo ship collided, one sank in Shanghai
The "Jiang Xia Xiang" collided with the tanker "Bai Chi" on July 23, 2015, at 1 a.m. in the Wusong area on the Yangtze river. The cargo ship was loaded with 7000 tons of stone, the tanker was carrying 30000 tons of crude oil. The "Jiang Xia Xiang" suffered a breach at portside and water ingress. It was taken to an anchorage, where it with the starboard side remaining above water. The tanker suffered bow damages and was docked shortly after the collision.
