According to a filing with the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CC), Suparna is also seeking permission to operate a Shanghai Pudong-Zhengzhou-Anchorage-Chicago-Halifax-Anchorage-Xi'an route, reported London's Air Cargo News.
The airline, which operates four Boeing 747 freighters and 11 B737Fs, hopes to commence both the Japan and North America services in March, after launching a service last year to Germany's Frankfurt Hahn.
Rival SF Airlines, which now has 52 freighters in its fleet, earlier applied to start Chongqing-Osaka freighter route this April.
