ANTWERP-BRUGES and the Maritime and Port Authority of singapore (MPA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on maritime decarbonisation and digitalisation, reports London's Port Technology International.
This joint initiative is expected to strengthen the partnership between the Port of Antwerp-Bruges and MPA and reaffirms the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange in addressing global maritime challenges.
The MoU was signed by Jacques Vandermeiren, CEO, Port of Antwerp-Bruges and MPA chief executive Teo Eng Dih.
This MoU provides a framework for Port of Antwerp-Bruges and MPA to exchange information and explore collaboration in key areas of maritime decarbonisation and digitalisation.
Said Mr Vandermeiren: 'This MoU marks a significant step in the energy and digital transition. At Port of Antwerp-Bruges we are committed to pioneer a sustainable and secure future.'
