SHENZHEN's SF Airlines, China's largest air cargo carrier, will see the size of its freighter fleet exceed 70 aircraft in 2022, reports Xinhua.
The news was released as the airline welcomed a B767-300BCF wide-body freighter to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. It is the 69th member of the SF Airlines fleet, and the first new member to join the fleet this year, said SF Airlines.
Recently, the airline officially established its headquarters for western China at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, with a view to establishing a regional hub. It will provide the airline with its fourth regional hub following those in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shenzhen.
The steady expansion of aircraft capacity will create a good foundation for expanding the route network and building an aviation hub in the future, said SF Airlines.
SF Airlines is the aviation branch of China's delivery giant SF Express.
