CHARLOTTE Svensson will become Scandinavian Airlines' (SAS) new vice president and chief information officer from February 1.
Ms Svensson, who was previously employed by Bonnier News and PostNord Group, will succeed Mattias Forsberg, who is leaving the airline to take up a new role at Svenska Handelsbanken, London's Air Cargo News reported.
Commenting on her new role, Ms Svensson was quoted as saying: 'I will be focusing on creating business value through constant improvement of customer value and creating zero friction for both internal and external IT users. Together with my team we will continue SAS' digital transformation in order to respond to future needs and becoming a truly digital-first airline.'
Said CEO Rickard Gustafson: 'Svensson's broad experience in creating business value through digital transformation, together with her leadership skills, will be great assets for us going forward.
