Sanmar Shipyards in honor of the completion of its 200th project

Sanmar Chairman of the Board Ali Gürün and ABS Senior Vice President of Global Business Development Vassilios Kroustallis were present at the ceremony held by Sanmar Shipyards in honor of the completion of its 200th project with the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) classification society.

Founded in 1862, ABS provides classification services for marine and offshore assets.

Speaking about the long-standing cooperation with ABS, Ali Gürün said, “I was delighted to host our friends from ABS at this event to celebrate another milestone of our very close and successful business relationship. ABS has worked with us on the development of some of the most important ships in our industry history. “We are proud that we have come this far together and achieved so much,” he said.
