SANMAR Operations Team set out to deliver BO to H. Schramm Towage

Sanmar's operations team took the powerful harbor tug on its maiden voyage to be delivered from Turkey to German operator H. Schramm Towage.

The tugboat, named BO after the three-year-old son of Hans Helmut Schramm, owner of H. Schramm Towage, has the design of Robert Allan's TRaktor-Z 2500SX, designed according to SANMAR specifications.

BO, which has two high-speed, electronically controlled CAT 3516C main engines, is a TRAktor-Z 2500SX class tractor type tug designed according to Robert Allan's Sanmar requirements, has a traction power of 75 tons and can reach a cruising speed of 12.5 knots.

With a length of 25.3 m and a width of 12 m, the BO is designed for escort and terminal support missions and has Fi-Fi 1 firefighting capacity.
