SANMAR delivered three tugboats to BOLUDA in three monthsSanmar delivered the third tugboat to Boluda, Spain-based international operator, in a short period of three months.The delivery of BOĞAÇAY LXVII, named VB TRAGEN by its new owner, took place after the delivery of two tractor tugboats VB HORUS and VB AMON, delivered from the Sanmar fleet in November last year, to Boluda. These were the first tugs Sanmar delivered to its new customer.Built in 2022 and having previously worked in the Sanmar fleet, VB TRAGEN is based on the best-selling RAmparts 2400-SX design, designed by Robert Allan specifically for Sanmar requirements. It is also specifically designed for optimum performance.
With a length of 24.4 m excluding fenders, a width of 11.25 m, a depth of 4.38 m and a maximum draft of 5.25, the VB TRAGEN can achieve an impressive pulling force of at least 80 tonnes and a speed of 12.5 knots.
