QATAR Airways Cargo has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first airline globally to obtain the complete suite of IATA CEIV certifications, reports Mumbai's State Trade Times.
Alongside its ground handling partner, qatar Aviation Services, they have recently received the IATA Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators in Perishable Logistics (CEIV Fresh) certification.
This accomplishment further solidifies Qatar Airways Cargo's reputation as a trusted provider of safe and efficient transportation solutions for perishable cargo.
The CEIV Fresh certification covers all aspects of the supply chain, ensuring that perishable goods are transported while maintaining their freshness, quality and integrity.
This achievement not only sets a new standard of excellence in the industry but also establishes Qatar Airways Cargo and Qatar Aviation Services in Doha as the sole airline and ground handler worldwide to have obtained the complete suite of IATA CEIV certifications, including CEIV Fresh, CEIV Lithium Batteries, CEIV Live Animals, CEIV Pharma, IEnvA registered, and United for Wildlife programme.
'Qatar Airways Cargo and QAS Cargo's achievement of the IATA CEIV Fresh certification reflects our pursuit for excellence and our unwavering commitment to our customers, keeping them always at the heart of everything we do,' said Qatar Airways COO Guillaume Halleux.
'Being the first and only airline worldwide, along with our GHA, to achieve the complete suite of IATA CEIV certifications is a testament to our dedication and hard work to delivering the highest standards of quality and reliability in air cargo transportation.'
