Reaching the region around 06:00 on 24.03.2023, the Search and Rescue Ship Migrants started the rescue operation. At around 06:30, with the participation of another ship of the Italian Navy in the rescue operation, over 500 immigrants were rescued without any loss or injury in the operation that lasted for 1.5 hours.
With the instruction given to our Captain from the Italian Coast Guard Center at 07:30, our ship left the area at 07:40 to continue its voyage.
