CARGO volume California's Ontario International Airport(ONT) grew 17.6 per cent year on year to 68,000 tons in August, reported the American Journal of Transportation.
From January through August, cargo tonnage increased by 18 per cent, up to 483,000 tons from 408,000 tons over the same period in 2017.
The number of passengers totalled 458,029 last month, an increase of 18.2 per cent over August 2017 when ONT welcomed 387,351 travellers.
In the first eight months of 2018, more than 3.3 million travellers moved through ONT, an increase of 13.2 per cent over the same period a year ago.
