MOL ups Asia-Mexico/WCSA rate US$750 and $800/TEU from June 15
JAPANESE shipping giant MOL Liner will levy a rate increase on cargo from Asia, excluding Malaysia and India, to Mexico and the west coast of South America of US$750 per TEU starting June 15.
In a letter to the trade, MOL said it considered the increase part of a rate restoration, adding its appreciation for "your continued support and understanding".
Separately, MOL will also levy another rate increase again on June 15 of US$800 per TEU on cargo from Malaysia to Mexico and west coast of South America.
