MOL Logistics (Vietnam) has opened a new office in northeastern Quang Ninh province, which is emerging as a production centre for automobiles and related products, with many companies establishing new plants and branch operations there.
The province faces Ha Long Bay, and is located three and a half hours by car from Hanoi and one and a half hours from Haiphong, the largest port in northern Vietnam.
The company's new office aims to more effectively manage logistics services, including customs operations in its territorial customs offices, on-site shipment operations at plants, with drayage and domestic shipping arrangements, in areas to the northeast of Haiphong, reported AJOT.
Established in November 2005, the Japanese shipping company now has seven offices in Vietnam: the Ho Chi Minh headquarters, the Hanoi branch, and offices in Hai Duong, Thai Binh, and BenTre.
The company also operates the Song Than warehouse in a suburb of Ho Chi Minh City in Binh Duong province.
