Med Marine Sends New Mooring Boats to its Fleet
Med Marine; Continuing to send fleet, pilot boat and mooring boats to the operation fleet in Iskenderun and Izmit Gulf, continues to work on renewal and enlargement of fleet.
The trial course of the two new mooring boats was recently carried out at the Ereğli Shipyard owned by Med Marine.
One of the new constructions, the mooring boat named EREGLI 66 has the following dimensions:

TOTAL WIDTH 5,508m
DEPTH 2,866
DRAFT 1,855

EREĞLİ 66 mooring boat has steel body and aluminum superstructure. In total, they are equipped with two VOLVO D9 MH 2200RPM host machines with 850 HP and a double TEIGNBRIDGE propeller system with 800mm diameter. In addition, stainless slanting F51 shaft and DATA HYDRAULIC DDS2x290s model steering gear are used.
Other newly built mooring boats EREGLI 67 has 7 sister projects in Eregli Shipyard. The mooring boat has the following dimensions:
TOTAL LENGTH 10,946m
TOTAL WIDTH 3,832m
DEPTH 2.100m
DRAFT 1,40m
GROS TON 14.08 T
EREĞLİ 67 uses two VOLVO D7C TA main engines with a total of 265HP. One 800mm diameter TEIGNBRIDGE propeller was used in the mooring boat. As in the EREĞLİ 66 project, EREĞLİ 67 has a stainless steel F51 shaft and DATA HYDRAULIC DDS 150S-2 model steering gear.
