GERMANY's Lufthansa Cargo plans to relocate its administrative base in Sweden from Upplands Vasby to a new complex at Stockholm Arlanda airport this coming spring
GERMANY's Lufthansa Cargo plans to relocate its administrative base in Sweden from Upplands Vasby to a new complex at Stockholm Arlanda airport this coming spring.
The carrier has signed a four-year lease for some 260 square metres of office space in the new building, called Office One, with Swedavia, Sweden's national airport operator.
With 15,000 square metres for offices, conference facilities, exhibitions and showrooms, Norwegian Air Shuttle, SEB, United Spaces and the Swedish Public Employment Service are among the other companies that have chosen to take up space at Office One.
Late last month, Swedavia confirmed that a new cargo hub called Logistics City is to be built near Stockholm Arlanda airport.
The Logistics City will cover an area of one million square metres and comes amid strong demand for logistics properties in attractive locations, driven by growing e-commerce and greater requirements for fast, flexible deliveries.
