ACI's 19th Vessel Efficiency and Fuel Management Summit will be held in London, UK on November 27 - 28.
Hamburg Ship Model Basin director Jochen Marzi is the latest confirmed speaker at the event, and he joins the likes of DFDS' environment and sustainability director Poul Woodall and Bernhard Schulte Management's fleet performance manager Frank Paleokrassas.
Entitled 'Advances in Optimising Vessel Efficiency: Holistic Design and Operation', Mr Marzi's 30- to 45-minute presentation will focus on improved energy efficiency through hydrodynamic optimisation and optimised operational performance.
Other key topics for discussion include: 'IMO 2020 on the Horizon & Other Important Regulation Changes', 'How Improved Cleaning Methods Can Lead to Better Performance,' 'Evaluating Developments in Fuel Management', 'Effective Pre-Voyage Projections to Optimise Vessel Efficiency' and 'Enhancing Digital Improvements in Fleet Performance'.
