The incident has forced the cancellation of two round trips between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen. The 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. sailings from Swartz Bay have been cancelled, along with the 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. departures from Tsawwassen with the Spirit of Vancouver Island.
