KOREA's air cargo deliveries fell 5
KOREA's air cargo deliveries fell 5.1 per cent to 1.06 million tons in third quarter in line with the slump in global demand for IT components that must be delivered by air, reported Korea's Pulse business news.
But South Korean passenger traffic reached a new three-month high in the third quarter, unfazed by a 15 per cent drop in flights to Japan despite a diplomatic row.
A total of 31.23 million passengers, including 22.91 million on international routes, travelled during the three months that ended on September 30, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said.
