LUXEMBOURG's Cargolux and the SeaLife Trust have set a new date for the transport of two beluga whales between China and Finland after the initial April flight was cancelled due to bad weather.
The two whales, Little Grey and Little White, will now embark on their epic journey from Shanghai to Keflavik, Iceland, on 19 June, reports London's Air Cargo News.
From Keflavik they will travel by truck and ferry to Heimaey island where they will live in an open water sanctuary.
The initial flight date was changed as a result of bad weather for the transport between the Icelandic mainland and the Island of Heimaey.
