JRD Industries/Ace has joined Sea2Cradle, Galloo and ISRA to become a sponsor of ACI's 7th Ship Recycling Congress that will be held in Amsterdam on January 30-31.
The event will bring together ship owners, ship operators, shipyards and class societies to discuss the latest changes, challenges and developments within the industry.
The two-day event will give an insight into the latest updates on the EU Regulation 1257/2013, sustainable ship recycling, IMO Hong Kong convention, the global market overview, and the Inventory Hazardous Materials.
Sea2Cradle and JRD Industries/Ace will participate in session three, entitled 'Assessing the Green Ship Recycling in India and South Asia.' This session will focus on ship recycling, implementing new technologies in 'green' ship recycling activities, and the practices of ship recycling facilities in Asia.
The impact of China's exit as of January 2019 from the global ship dismantling market will also be discussed.
