ITA Airways Cargo is adding cargo capacity to cargo.one, opening more capacity for the Italian market, reports London's Air Cargo News.
The move comes as the airline identified digital distribution expansion as a significant strategic pillar of its plan.
Cargo.one declared that thousands of freight forwarders worldwide would benefit from gaining access to the carrier's capacity around Italy.
Users gain real-time visibility of ita Airways Cargo routes and rates and instantly bookable offers and confirmation.
'Through digital connectivity, ITA Airways Cargo aims to improve its value proposition, building an offer which provides customers with quality services quickly and with ever greater control over their shipments,' said cargo.one.
ITA Airways celebrated its first year of activity on October 15, and its fleet will comprise 74 aircraft at the end of 2022.
'The airline is savvy to pursue a digital strategy with customer centricity at its core. Freight forwarders will benefit immediately from the efficiencies and competitiveness that booking ITA Airways Cargo digitally will now unlock,' said cargo.one founder Moritz Claussen.
