GEODIS' Airbus A330-300 freighter has operated between Italy and China for the first time, according to London's Air Cargo News.
The company said its leased A330-300F departed from Malpensa airport and flew to Shanghai.
In a LinkedIn post the company said: 'Geodis in Italy is proud to have hosted our Airbus A330-300 freighter at Malpensa airport last week. It's the first time Geodis freighter operates between Italy and China.
'With a total weight of 30 tonnes, the operation was successfully completed and reached its final destination in Shanghai.'
In January, AirAsia X formed a new air logistics partnership with Geodis to provide additional cargo capacity in Asia Pacific.
